Compete weekly in GolfSim Leagues!

Soon, we will launch a weekly league competition, that will run our of GolfSim Braeside.

​

At this stage:

  • Tuesday nights, 6-8pm

  • 5 week league and finals

  • 6 teams

  • Different formats each week, including:

    • Match Play​

    • Ambrose

    • Alternate shot

    • 4 ball best ball

    • 666

How does it all work?

Q School must be completed before playing your first event.

Half of your registration fee will go towards prizes.

Each round is expected to take around 30-45 minutes per player.

We will also play four Majors, and award a Majors winner:

  • The Masters April – Georgia Golf Club(4 Rounds)

  • PGA Championship May – Valhalla GC

  • US Open June – Pinehurst Resort

  • The Open July – Royal Troon

​

You can play your tournament rounds at any of the following venues:

  • GolfSim Braeside (Melbourne)

  • Ballina Virtual Golf (NSW)

  • Lakes Entrance GC (Victoria)

  • Epic Erina (Melbourne)

  • Sim Life Golf (Melbourne)

  • The Sim Range (Brisbane)

  • General Public (Frankston) - who will also host a monthly par 3 tournament

Participants will need to book time at the venue of their choice, at the applicable cost.

Players should allow 30-45 minutes per round as a rough guide.

League FAQs

What is GolfSim Play?

At GolfSim Play we manage golf venues and only golf tours. We currently manage 2 venues in Melbourne directly, we also have around 15 venues across the country where we have our events running.

 

Can I win prizes?

Yes, there will be prizes at the events like any golf events. These will depend on the number of competitors to start.

Who do I talk to if I want a simulator of my own?

Head to the GolfSim Australia website, check out the technology and speak with one of the team to customise something for your needs.

How can I find golfers to play with?

We have a Facebook group with our members, this is a great way to meet up with someone for a round. You can also organise to play with someone interstate at the same time.

 

What if I start a round and can’t finish?

Your round will be saved, and you can resume it at anytime at any venue. Just follow the same process when starting your round and you will resume where you left off.

How long with a round take me?

For 1 person playing 18 holes, it will be around 45-60min. A more experienced user will take between 30-45min. Par 3 tournaments will be quicker again.

 

What tracking is used?

We use Uneekor sensors, Eye XO, QED and Eye Mini’s. Each venue may have a different sensor, although they will all be very similar in terms of data.

 

What software is used?

GSPro software is the software for the tour. There is 700+ golf courses available and many of the most famous.
